Nested up close to the north rim of Gore Canyon on the Colorado river this hunting lodge is a retreat for its owners to be a part of Colorado mountain life and spend time outdoors exploring and hunting. This project was a collaboration between Crosscut Reclaimed and Joe Harthun at Way West architecture. Joe approached us about this project knowing that we had the knowledge, experience and tools to take raw materials from the owners family farm plus some that we sourced and mill, build and install all the wall treatments, wainscot, trims, cabinetry and decorative trusses.
